Bio
I received my Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State University in Social Sciences. I received my Master's Degree from the University of West GA in the field of Special Education.
I have been teaching for 19 years and I have been a Villa Rica wildcat since the 2014-2015 school year. I have co- taught a variety of subjects including Literature, U.S. History, Economics, U.S. Government, and World History. This year I will am teaching resource social studies and co-teaching Economics.
I have one son who graduated from the Carroll County School System and currently serves as a structural engineer in the United States Air Force.

Course Description: The high school United States history course provides students with a survey of major events and themes in United States history. The course begins with English settlement and concludes with significant developments in the early 21st Century.

All school rules outlined in the DHS handbook will be strictly followed and enforced. In addition to this you will be held accountable for coming to class prepared with your required supplies (pen, book, paper, and a planner/ assignment sheet). Anything on my desk or on my cart is off limits. No talking or moving around the room will be allowed while I am teaching or work has been assigned.

Course Description: This course covers the fundamentals of economic decision-making, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics, students will learn personal finance skills they can apply to their own futures – including managing and balancing budgets; understanding and building credit; protecting against identity theft and consumer protections; and understanding tax forms, student loan applications, and pay stubs. Economics is the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions about the allocation of scarce resources. This course provides students with a foundation in the field of economics, with a specific focus on how students can apply that knowledge to their own personal finances.
