Bio

Marisa Mount attended Carroll County Schools from pre-K to senior year, graduating at the top of her class from Temple High School in 2015. She then graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Georgia in 2018 with a degree in English and a certification to teach grades 6-12. She has experience working in both Carroll County and Carrollton City schools, from student-teaching at Mt. Zion High School to working as an 8th grade ELA teacher for Carrollton Junior High. She loves helping students develop their voices as writers, and she is excited to share her passion for reading and writing with the Villa Rica Wildcats!
