Bio

Coach Wade Bailey is a VRHS alumni, where he played baseball for 4 years. As a Wildcat, Coach Bailey was the Times-Georgian Freshman of the Year, 2 time Times-Georgian Player of the year and was named to the First Team All Region Team for 4 years. After graduating, Coach Bailey continued his baseball career as a 2nd baseman at Georgia Tech. During his time at Georgia Tech, he was a Collegiate Baseball All-American, 2 time first team All ACC 2nd Baseman, and 2 time preseason All-American. Coach Bailey continues to hold many records at Georgia Tech. 

Coach Bailey has coached baseball at VRHS for 4 years as the Head JV Coach and Varsity Assistant. Coach Bailey has been the Head Varsity Coach since 2023, and has led the team to a Region Championship in 2023 and 2024 and a Sweet 16 Appearance.
