Athletic Director

Mr. Rick Sauls is the Athletic Director and an Assistant Principal at VRHS. He is a Villa Rica native and VRHS alumni. Mr. Sauls earned his Bachelor's Degree from University of West Georgia, his Master's Degree at Jacksonville State University and Specialist Degree at NOVA Southeastern University.  Mr. Sauls spent 25 as a high school, spending 14 years coaching at VRHS. 

Mr. Sauls is married to Leisha, who is the principal at Tallapoosa Primary School. They have three children. Tripp, is a graduate of VRHS and currently attends Kennesaw State University. Gracie Jay is also a VRHS graduate, who attends and cheers at UAB, and Tate, is a senior and student athlete at VRHS.
