Coach Kenneth Thompson is entering his 7th season coaching VRHS Soccer. He coached the Wildcats to Region finalist in 2019, 2022, and 2023, along with a Round 16 appearance in 2019 and 2022. Coach Thompson is a native of Atlanta, GA where he attended Fredrick Douglass High School where he played Varsity Soccer for three years and was named MVP in his senior season. After high school Coach Thompson attended the University of West Georgia and later became involved in coaching, beginning at Carroll County Recreation Department then later with Villa Rica Soccer Association. He is excited to see what the future looks like with the Wildcat soccer team with this young core of talented players. Coach Thompson and his wife, Tanisha, have three children who have attended Villa Rica High School: Elberta (c/o 2017), Jordyn (c/o 2023), and Kenneth III (c/o of 2025).
