Coach Cody Skinner graduated from Ranburne High School in Ranburne, Alabama before attending The University of West Georgia. At UWG, Coach Skinner was a three year conference starting pitcher for the Wolves Baseball Program where he was the first ever recipient of the Mr. Wolf Award at the first annual Westpy's Award Ceremony. He graduated from UWG in 2014 with a degree in Health and Physical Education. Coach Skinner is married to his high school sweetheart, Ashley and they have two sons, Cohan and Callan. Coach Skinner is starting year number 10 at VRHS and his 8th season as the Head Softball Coach.

The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity a week. That breaks down to at least 30 minutes per day, five times a week. You can shorten that time by exercising more vigorously: The alternate recommendation is at least 75 minutes of vigorous exercise per week.
