Bio
Mrs. Maegan Day is a native of Villa Rica, GA and a 2006 graduate of Villa Rica High School. Mrs. Day is also a graduate of Fort Valley State University, Jacksonville State University, and earned her Tier 1 leadership certification from the University of West Georgia. Her experience as an educator includes having taught a variety of Social Studies subjects, served as a cheerleading coach, the VRHS Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy sponsor, the founder of the VRHS Purple PEARLS and the PEARLS organization, and she has served as assistant principal at Temple High School and Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School. Mrs. Day comes from a family of VRHS alumni and her children currently attend school within the Villa Rica Cluster.
Having the experience of being a VRHS student, teacher, and Assistant Principal, Mrs. Day is grateful for the opportunity to support the VR community, the VRHS faculty and staff, and help our students reach the fullest potential to graduate from VRHS with the necessary tools to be employed, enlisted, enrolled, and engaged members of our community!
