I have worked for the Carroll County Board of Education since 1998 and started as a Resource Coordinator with Pre-K.  In 2005 I began teaching 6th grade Social Studies at Central Middle School while completing my Secondary Ed Certification.  After several years at Central Middle I then started teaching at Temple High School where I taught for 9 years. This will be my 5th year at Villa Rica and I am excited to be an ECS teacher.

World History

Course Description:  The high school world history course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events and themes in world history. Students begin with a study of the earliest civilizations worldwide and continue to examine major developments and themes in all regions of the world. The course culminates in a study of change and continuity and globalization at the beginning of the 21st century.

Make-up Work:  It is the student’s responsibility to contact the teacher to obtain missed assignments.

Classroom Rules:  

  1.  Be on time.

  2. Respect yourself, your peers, and the instructor.

  3. Follow procedures and instructions.
